F.A.Q
How long after the procedure were these “after” photos taken? (6 months? 12 months?)
We request photos from our patients at regular intervals for follow-up. Most of these photos were taken 9 to 12 months after the procedure, while some were taken around the 6th month.
Do results keep improving over time, or is this the final outcome?
You are seeing the final outcome in most of the before and after results we share. We also have photos of some patients who sent us their photos in the sixth or seventh month, and we expect to see continued improvement in these individuals up to the 16th month.
Can I see the same patient's timeline at 3, 6, 9, and 12 months?
If you would like to see a specific patient's timeline, please contact us via WhatsApp. We can share it if the patient has sent us their photos regularly.
Note: We have obtained permission from the individuals in the photos shown here to share their images.
Why do some results look fuller much earlier than others?
The three most important reasons are differences in hair structure, the contrast between hair and skin color, and the area where the grafts were implanted.
People with thicker, fuller, or curly hair may appear denser even in the early stages.
In addition, dark hair creates greater contrast with fair skin, making results appear fuller.
Also, grafts implanted in the front of the scalp tend to emerge earlier than those in the crown area, so crown results often take longer to become visible.
Why do some hairlines look perfectly natural while others appear less natural or more structured?
Although the hairline is designed to look natural, the percentage of single grafts used is a key factor.
Single grafts should be used in the first two rows because that reflects the natural hair structure.
If single grafts are insufficient, double or triple grafts may be used — which can lead to a less natural appearance.
How do you design a natural hairline?
We consider the direction of hair growth, the patient's age, and facial proportions.
Planning also includes accounting for potential future hair loss so that the transplanted hairline continues to look natural over time. You can find more information in this article.
Why can some patients provide over 4000 grafts while others are more limited?
The primary reason is genetics. Some people have a denser and more favorable donor area, while others have a sparser one.
Other factors include age, scalp elasticity (more elastic scalps allow easier graft harvesting), and whether the patient has had previous hair transplants.
Do you use beard or body hair when the scalp donor is limited?
Yes, we frequently use the beard as a donor area. However, we do not harvest grafts from other body areas because the hair there is not compatible with scalp hair.
Are future hair loss patterns considered in your planning?
Absolutely. We assess the patient’s age and risk of future hair loss to avoid exhausting the limited donor supply and to ensure sustainable planning.
How do you calculate how many grafts are needed for each person?
We use a donor evaluation system we developed called the Hair Donor Index. This allows us to make a realistic assessment of how much can be safely harvested from the donor area.
Does hair thickness or curliness affect how full the result looks?
Thicker hair improves visual density because fewer grafts can cover a larger area.
People with slightly curly or wavy hair have a similar advantage. However, extremely curly hair requires special care, and the success rate may be slightly lower.
Does post-op care impact the quality of results shown?
While post-op care is not the only factor affecting the outcome, failing to follow instructions can have a significant negative impact.
Not following post-op guidelines or skipping clinical follow-up may lead to complications, such as infections or aesthetic issues.
After returning to your home country, we continue to monitor your results.
Photos are reviewed via WhatsApp, and your questions are answered promptly. Free video consultations with our doctors are also available upon request.
Are these photos real and unedited?
Yes. These are real, unedited images taken under consistent lighting and angles.
Can I see more photos of a specific case or request similar patient examples?
Yes, in the preliminary report we provide, we include before-and-after photos of cases similar to yours so you can visualize realistic results.
Do you have before/after photos of the back (donor) area too?
Yes, donor area photos are available upon request.
