DERMATOLOGIST DR. MEHMET ALİ KOYUNCU

After completing his high school education, he graduated with honours from Meram Medical Faculty in 2011. Dr. Mehmet Ali Koyuncu, who has always been curious about research, achieved a very high rank in the Medical Specialization Exam (TUS) after his medical education and started his specialization in Dermatology at Akdeniz University Medical Faculty, one of the highest-scoring departments in Turkey.

In 2022, he became a specialist in Dermatology and Venereal Diseases at the Dermatology Department of Akdeniz University Faculty of Medicine. He then completed his dermatology specialist duties at Isparta City Hospital and started working at DK Clinic.

During both his dermatology specialization and his tenure as a dermatology doctor, he managed the follow-up and treatment of many patients in clinics requiring special expertise such as nail diseases and dermatoscopy (mole tracking).

From the first day he started his Dermatology education at the Dermatology Department of Akdeniz University, which houses one of Turkey’s first cosmetic dermatology departments within a university hospital, he received training and performed procedures in aesthetic and cosmetic dermatology.

Thesis Work: Clinical and histopathological features in patients with mycosis fungoides: A 10-year retrospective evaluation.
